Questions, answered
Is Canadian tax really handled?
Yes — GST, HST, PST and QST are computed per province from a maintained, dated rate table (not a setting you babysit). Rate changes ship as updates with tests behind them. US contractors set a single sales-tax rate instead.
How does per-seat pricing work?
Each plan covers one user. Every teammate you invite adds a seat at the same plan price, pro-rated mid-cycle — so a two-person Pro shop pays two Pro seats. One exception: a sub-trade — a labour-only person on your crew who only ever sees the jobs you give them — is a cheaper seat rather than a full one; the pricing page carries the current figure. Scoped access keeps the crew in only what they need.
Do you support CAD and USD?
Your business runs in its home currency, and receipts keep the currency they were paid in — we never silently convert. Canadian tenants get the full GST/HST treatment; US tenants get a manual sales-tax rate.
Is my data safe?
Every business is fully isolated — your data lives under your tenant alone and the server enforces it on every request, verified by automated security tests on every change. Costs and margins never appear on client-facing pages, and your data is exportable anytime.
Can my accountant get access?
The Project Accounting add-on includes a read-only accountant seat plus statements and a year-end package they can file from. Until then, every report exports cleanly.
